Lessons combine the most recent acquisitions of language-teaching methodology with the teaching tradition of Renaissance humanistic schools.
From the very first lesson, courses will be held in Latin and students will be invited to use this language in order to converse among themselves and with the professor. The vocabulary and structures employed are those of Classical Latin.
Courses are based on the inductive-contextual method and follow a program that allows the student to understand and comprehend each new word and grammatical rule in a direct and immediate way.
Upon completion of studies, students will be able to read and comprehend any text in Latin without needing to consult a dictionary.
Consequently, students will acquire the ability to express themselves in Latin, and will be able to grasp even minute nuances of the language, thereby guaranteeing direct access to history’s greatest literary patrimony.
